Steven D. Pjesky, President
Mr. Pjesky founded Kensington Homes in 1993. As President, he is responsible for Strategic Planning and overall financial performance of Kensington Homes.

Steven held prior positions as Executive Vice-President, Sanford Homes, Inc. from 1978-1987 in Denver and Dallas; Executive Vice-President, Desert Mountain Development Co., Scottsdale, Arizona, from 1987-1988; National Director Builder Sales, Whirlpool Corporation from 1988-1992. Past President of Northern Illinois Homebuilder’s Association. Steve Pjesky holds a Bachelor of Science from the United States Military Academy at West Point (1971) with Graduate Business Studies at the University of Colorado (1977-1980).

S. Scott Pjesky, Executive Vice-President/COO
Mr. Pjesky has served as Executive Vice-President since 1999. He is directly responsible for all operations, product design, sales and marketing and he plays the key role in all land acquisition and development activities.

Prior to assuming this position, he served as Operations Manager from 1995 to 1998. Scott Pjesky joined Kensington Homes in 1995 after working for another premier Chicago developer, Lakewood Homes, where he held a field management position. Scott holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from University of Michigan (1995) and a Master in Business Administration (M.B.A.) in Finance from DePaul University, Chicago.

Kevin P. Kassir, Vice President Finance & Administration
Mr. Kassir has served with Kensington Homes since May 2000. He is responsible for accounting, finance, budgeting, reporting, internal controls and banking relations. In addition, he oversees information technology and human resources.

Kevin has over eight years experience in accounting and finance. Prior to joining Kensington Homes, he has held positions in both public and private practice. Kevin holds a Bachelor in Science degree in Accounting from University of Illinois and is a licensed Certified Public Accountant in the State of Illinois. He is a member of the Illinois CPA Society and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.

Cheryl Bonk, Vice President of Sales and Marketing
Ms Bonk has served with Kensington Homes since March 2000.  She is responsible for sales and marketing operations, including sales reporting, annual corporate sales objectives, sales team development, sales procedure implementation, as well as the integration of marketing and advertising for all community developments.

Prior to assuming this position, she served as Sales Manager from 2000-2001. Cheryl joined Kensington Homes with 15 years of experience in new home sales and held sales management positions with 4 major Chicago-area building corporations. Cheryl holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Illinois State University (1980).  She is a member of the Homebuilders Association of Greater Chicago, Sales and Marketing Council and Northern Illinois Homebuilders Association.

Andrew Bejma, Director of Production and Safety
Mr. Bejma has served with Kensington Homes since January 1998. He is directly responsible for all of Kensington Homes’ house-line construction and safety operations. 

Prior to assuming this position, he served as both Assistant and Project Superintendent between 1998-2002, and most recently as Production Manager, from 2003-2005. Andy has been an integral member of the team during his sever-year career at Kensington Homes, gaining experience in each facet of new home construction management.

Andy is a 1997 graduate of Southern Illinois University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Construction Management. In addition, he holds memberships with the Residential Construction Employers Council and National Association of Home Builders.

Frank Albano, Director of Warranty and Quality Assurance
Mr. Albano has served with Kensington Homes since 1999. As Director of Warranty and Quality Assurance, he is directly responsible for Kensington Homes' Warranty and Quality Assurance Department.

For the past seven years, Mr. Albano has demonstrated a commitment to achieving Kensington Homes' warranty goals and customer satisfaction.  His track record of success in the homebuilding industry with Kensington Homes began as Assistant Project Superintendent and quickly led to the role of Warranty Team Manager. Under his leadership, Mr. Albano’s team has enabled the company to consistently achieve high warranty customer satisfaction ratings from homeowners in both the 30-day and 11-month surveys. In each of the past three years, NRS research has identified Kensington Homes' warranty experience among the best in the country.

Shawn Pjesky, Director of Purchasing and Estimating
Mr. Pjesky has served with Kensington Homes since April 2001.  He is responsible for direct construction bid/contract administration, houseline cost/budget analysis and specification/product research.  In addition, he plays the key role in supply chain intelligence and managing all trade/manufacturer relationships. 

Prior to assuming this position, he held multiple field project management positions with Kensington Homes.  Shawn is a 1997 graduate of Ferris State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business/Marketing, with a core emphasis in retail strategy/merchandise planning.  He currently serves and speaks on product research panels for many national building product manufacturers and associations; and in 2005 was appointed to the Advisory Board for Home Channel News, the premier industry journal for building material manufacturers and distributors world-wide.
